The rules, plainly

Your friend has to complete one full paid month (past the refund window) before their first credit lands.
If a friend cancels, their share stops at your next bill. If they’re back within 90 days, it picks right back up.
Banked credit stays with your account — a pause or a gap between subscriptions doesn’t erase it. It pays bills, never converts to cash, and doesn’t transfer. Delete your account and it’s forfeited 90 days later.
On an annual plan? Credits bank toward your renewal — a $190 Peers renewal can arrive fully covered.
Referring yourself doesn’t work, and gaming it gets the credits reversed. You knew that.
